Old and Improved!

After one recent complaint about our WCF brand Homemade Laundry Soap causing clothes to retain smells after extended use, we did some research and came up with the problem and a solution of our own. We didn't want to wait for anyone else to have the same troubles.

So, the problem?  Sour smells for some of our customers using our homemade laundry soap. (Here's a link to a similar problem)

The source of the problem: Apparently the borax we used to use in our soaps were potentially combining with the bar soap in hard water and locking in smells into the clothes.  This wouldn't suffice.  Our family has used this soap for years, and never had this problem, but it got our attention.

The solution:  We went back to the drawing board and built a better soap.  Now our WCF brand Fresh Pink, Bright Gold and Sensitive White (which we introduced in July) laundry soaps no longer carry the ability to hold the smells in the clothes to sour whether you use hard water or not.

Of course, we can't promise that your washing machine might not need some cleaning and maintenance to help out, but we are confident now that our elimination of the Borax and reduction of the bar soap content in each soap will make it tougher for hard water customers to find fault in the smell of their clothes when they are done washing with our soaps. We've also added our own mixture of natural ingredients to make it a more effective cleaner, as well.

So, if you've encountered this problem, please try the newly formulated WCF brand Homemade Laundry Soaps.  You can no longer make it yourself, but that's okay, we do it so you don't have to or have the smells, anymore.  It still takes very little soap, creates virtually no sud, smells great and is economical to use.  It's just better soap.

Find us at Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market, or call the farm to order your newly reformulated WCF Brand Homemade Laundry Soap.*
